A few weeks back at FFDG marked the opening of Dave Kinsey’s first solo show in San Francisco in over a decade. Lost For Words saw Kinsey venture into a much more abstract style, while still holding a sense of familiarity with his signature figurative characters. From mixed media works on a various of surfaces, to rather simple illustrations on hanging craft paper, the body of work he put together looks insane. Bristol based, Ian Francis opened his most recent show '10,000 Years From Now' a few weeks ago at the Lazarides' Rathbone Place location in London. This dude is on some serious next level business. Check more here, or take a look in person if you are around the area, it runs through May 24th. Incredible stuff...

In conjunction with The Seventh Letter, LA based Known Gallery recently opened a group show celebrating the art of Sesame Street. The show featured work from over 40 of the most relevant street artists today, with proceeds benefiting the City of Hope’s pediatric care. The way the artists interpreted, and paid homage to the show turned out really dope, check out photos below, and a bunch more on Known's website here. Unfortunately the show is already closed...

Absolutely amazing new body of work from UK-based painter Connor Harrington. His sold out show, Dead Meat opened a couple weeks ago at Lazarides in London. Really, really great stuff, check out a look into his studio here.

There & Back is the latest body of work from LA artist Gregory Siff. The show opened last week at Siren Studios in Hollywood and consisted of paintings, drawings, installation pieces and a mural. The Obliteration Room is part of artist Yayoi Kusama's Look Now, See Forever show that is currently running at the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art. This amazing installation began as an all white room, and over the course of 2 weeks museum visitors were given thousands of colored stickers and were invited to assist in transforming the space. Brilliant...
